As a former interior designer, I have always been involved with creating artwork as well as selecting art. I now have turned my interest towards painting. My work does however reflect my design background, I am always combining textures, colors and forms in my artwork. Whether painting in the environment or in my studio, these influences help me manipulate the light and colors into my paintings while expanding my imagination. I try to incorporate this sensitivity into any paintings that I am working on. There is nothing more exciting than to paint from life. My goal is to experience the changing light and the intimacy of the landscape in my paintings. It also gives me the chance to slow down and get involved in my environment. I create a focal point to invite the viewer to get involved in this environment as well. Exhibitions
